Big Belly

What I know of is that having big belly may associate you in having cardiac diseases and diabetes later on in life.  But a new study have shown that bulging bellies in mid-life may lead to dementia or Alzheimer’s disease later on.

Fats that accumulate within the midline area are said  to be unhealthy for the brain. These fats called visceral fats, secretes hormones and chemicals that can do damage to the brain. One example of this is the Leptin hormone.

By this time, we should only not be conscious with our weight. Having a normal weight doesn’t mean we are healthy. We should still consider our body fats. Normal weight plus big belly is still not healthy. A waistline of greater than 35 inches for female and 40 inches for male are considered above normal.

Better start exercising now! I, myself is conscious with my waistline. Been in the gym for 3 months and desirable outcome was met. Now, being out of the gym for almost 2 months worries me, since my belly is starting to get bigger again. Hmp! Gotta do some crunches again.
